Computer Repairs

You can also obtain classes in Computer Repairs. This course prepares you for the A+ Comptia Examinations. It also provides a practical introduction into assembling computers and repairing computers.

Microsoft Training Package

A Microsoft Training Package has been put together to provide school leavers with training in the software training programs most likely to be beneficial to them in the world of work.

The courses in the package includes; Literacy, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Corporate Computer Training

BTDC also provides training for companies upon request either at our training centre or in-house at the customer. Whether at our centre or in-house at your location, we can provide all the computers and supporting equiqment.

Our Microsoft Programs – Word, Access, Excel, and Project are structured into Beginning and Advanced courses, to accommodate our customers.

Most of our corporate training courses run for three (3) days or twenty-four (24) contact hours. We make adjustments to satisfy the specific requirements of clients and participants.

Our Training Material

All participants are provided with suitable course material which includes an instruction manual with exercises. This manual minimizes the need for the taking of notes and serve as useful reference guide.

The focus of our course material is on the understanding of concepts. After each concept, the course material provides for each participant to complete at least one (1) exercise to reinforce the concept.

All training is done in front of a computer. All students are provided with a computer during classes.

Our Facilities

Our main computer lab is situated at 46 Green Street, Arima. Presently this lab has 15 computers available to the public.

Additionally, we have another 40 computers dedicated for corporate training. All computers are modern with processor speeds of at least 2.0 GHz and memory capacity of at least 1024MB.

We also have 2 multimedia systems which are used during the training.
